Explore North sitting high and dry in the midnight sun
No wonder the locals came wandering along the beach around mindight last night. I sailed Explore North on to the beach on a faling tide and four hours later she was sitting high and dry on Landegode – an beatiful island south of Bodø.
Thats the great thing about having an swining keel boat; you can access places (and beaches) that very few other boats can reach.
While I was beached I also took the opportunity to changes the anodes.
When I woke up this morning the boat was floating free again, and I hauled it out in to deeper water, lowered the keel and rudder and sailed of. Great?

The beaches in Northern Norway isn't crowded
